What’s the best sway to counter overhand?

Most reliable is probably to slip to the outside and counter with an uppercut.

Unless you are shorter than your opponent, in which case duck and uppercut is still your best bet.

Edit: Stationary uppercut intercept is good as well if you can anticipate it coming.

Thats your first problem, why did you jump right into ranked knowing the mechanics are different ? Play quick match and lab it out man.

If the overhabd is the initial strike in the combo. You can chop down the lead leg by timing your kicks as soon as they start winding it up, a few of them and they'll be MUCH easier to take doen.

Or block the overhand, sway the hook counter, if they're always throwing hooks off the overhand.

Otherwise GPD has already posted the other counters I'd recommend.

Stamina is so bad after patch. You can spam 140 strikes in round, connect only 30 and your stamina is still full. Button smash will be real.

That happened every now and then before the patch for me, TBH Stamina doesn't feel any different except the new back evasion eats it for breakfast.

Before the patch it was much easier to pick your shots smart and make them gas out. Maybe i'll just need more practice to do it with this patch.

The stamina isn't different, it's most likely the jab and straight spam that's more effective now which I don't believe drains much stamina.
