MMAGAME brought this to the attention of the team. At the time, xVBIx_Zoned was 85-0 with an average fight time of 1:42.

85-0 is a possible record, but an average fight time of 1:42 during an LEC? Something fishy is going on there... at the very least it's worth investigating.

Good to know! I personally don't like 'telling on people' ... let alone on an online forum ... but OS and Discord are the two best ways to try and Out these cheaters so I'm glad you are supportive if done the right way !

Me and theUFCVet know xBranster from back in UFC2, as do many others I reckon. Back then he was already someone who took "winning at any cost" waaaay too far, so now that he's thrown in his lot with VBI it isn't at all surprising that he's DDOS'ing people. Disgusting.

I get where you're coming from, this is just a game and not even one with $$$ on the line lol ....

But there are a lot of people who have dedicated hundreds (dare I say thousands) of hours to these games over many years .... and want to test themselves in a fair environment....spending several hours over a weekend to get on a winning streak...

Only to have some asshat(s) ruin it with some hax0rz garbage smh

There's an LEC discord server?

No just the 'regular' Discord channel, I had heard people talking about this over the weekend and many of the same names of the cheaters kept coming up from different sources...not one single person could really 'prove' anything but with 3, 4, 5 independent witnesses over a 48 hour period.....

At least erase them from the leaderboards lol

Maybe they are doing that, b/c we haven't recieved the Diamond Top 10 rewards yet? Or at least I haven't lol hopefully they'll scrub any confirmed cheaters or people with >5% DNF wins or something

We have evaluated the leaderboards for this LEC and have handed out 4 short-term bans from our EA servers. Any further questionable results in Online Championships or LECs will result in a significantly increased length of this ban.

Account ban or IP-ban too? Because I'm absolutely sure these cheaters will have multiple alternate accounts. I can remember that in UFC2 it got so bad that 20 of the top 100 players all belonged to a single guy

I am a bit naive when it comes to the ways of cheating (The dark side of the force.) I honestly didnt know that people could cause you to get an L for disconnecting. This is making me wonder. I've had several fights lately that have resulted in this. I have great connection and I am just outside the top 100 (Cant seem to break in.) Is this a common occurrence in ranked as well, or just a problem on LEC?

Knock On Wood I've only had this happen (or at least, suspected it's happened) a couple times before....both in ranked....

So at least in my experience, not super prevalent .... but all it takes is this to happen once or twice in an LEC, and you're dead in the water.....

Doubt these fools learned their lesson but I'm really grateful EA is trying!

DiaHardLoki who changed his name to VBI Branster later, DDosed me while i was beating him up. I was also streaming my LEC matches. It was very laggy & choppy from the beginning, but when he realized he couldnt get me to the ground he became very passive in the fight and it showed me the WAITING FOR OPPONENT screen after freezing.
I then lost connection to the EA servers, my stream got shut down & i had a loss for that fight.

@EA PERMA BAN for the servers. No other way around. PLUS reach out to sony/microsoft to get those guys consoles perma-banned.
This is disgusting.
