Career mode and cafs.

Can we get a few actual caf types, the 5 rn are a severe downgrade on 2. With there own move templates and abilities.

Is career mode going to get any love. Dont turn into fifa and completey ignore it, its good to see some changes this year but tbh they werent satisfying. Its 2 steps forward and one step back.

Re: Career mode and cafs.

For the life of me I can't understand why the champions in each weight class NEVER lose to other cpu opponents. If Cormier is the champion when you start your career he will be the champion until you fight him......Then if you lose the belt to someone they stay champion until you fight them again. The crazy part is if you pay attention their records change throughout career but they never lose. And for the love of all that is holy if we lose to a rival twice send us back to wfa instead of retiring......Also give us the option to retire anytime not just when we become the goat.......are these changes really that hard to make? Completely immersion breaking

Re: Career mode and cafs.

I HATE the way each weight class has specific body types now.

It's so poorly done.

GSPs physique is ONLY avalible for a HW, but Jon Jones physique is avalible for BW and up.

Who honestly cares if we want to put Big Countrys guts on a LW.

I really hope they change that.

I also wish Career CAFs records were tracked after your career into quick fight (offline)

UD did this, I LOVED my caf being introduced as 40-2 former 2 time heavyweight champ, former pride GP winner and hall of gamer by Buffer.

Edit: * Hall of Famer, not changing that typo though lol.

Or at least a thick body type for LHW.
DC's the champ, and the only body types are ripped six packs...

I actually liked UFC 2 career better. Showed you all the rankings and cards, and champs could change and young CAF's would gradually take over. I liked that.
Ok the other hand; UFC 3 has a SUPERIOR AI.

I enjoyed UFC 2's career more too actually..
Edit: and I enjoyed FNC and UD3 even more again lol, if not just because both allowed you to review your damned fight record in detail!

3 just isn't replayable outside of new weight classes each time and even then I just don't like the design and forced/locked movesets.

I get the idea, it just didn't feel well done.
WFA was good.

And yeah, I spend 99% of my time playing fantasy AI fights so I'm beyond the moon at how much better the AI and the work Skynets done in the patches is great too. That's a massive improvement for sure.
