Tito Ortiz striking?

Is waaaaaayyyyyy overpowered. I find it hard to believe the devs have seen any of his fights. If they had they would realize he is by far one of the worse strikers in MMA. Ridiculous.

I understand this is supposed to be a reflection of Tito in his prime. But Tito in his prime was a sub par one dimensional MMA fighter. Beating guys like Elvis sinosic and Patrick cote do not warrant the type of ratings that Tito got. Can any tell me with a straight face that Tito in his prime was on par with Daniel cormier?

The devs add so many great features through patches and just completely kill realism with these outrageous ratings

Re: Tito Ortiz striking?

Matt Serra for that matter to. Matt Serra holds one significant win in his entire career over a top 10 opponent. Him and Tito should be rated middle of the pack at best in their divisions. I feel like the devs have to OP these guys so that they will actually be used online. But if you are using these guys your not getting a proper representation of what type of fighter these guys were

Meanwhile Stipe, Jon Jones, and Kelvin Gastelum are basically complete jobbers and never seen in ranked.

I think people are taking the ICON stats a lil to serious. These guys are supposed to be fun prime version of all time great fighters to play with and have fun.

A lot of ppl on this forum are complaining just a lil to much over something so dumb. Just enjoy them and stop making so many post about how OP they are.

You're the only person I've seen so far with that opinion, most everybody else realizes that these guys have comically over the top stats.

It's not balanced, its not fair to the other legends in game whose stats incorporate both the good and the bad and most importantly its just straight up erroneous, Tito Ortiz, in his prime, wasn't a better calibre wrestler than GSP, DC or JBJ.

Nobody is saying nerf them into the ground, but you can't honestly think these stats make sense

They're like a homemade CAF made by someone with a bias for the fighter in question.

Seriously, my Cro Cop CAF had lower stats than the official Cro Cop.

I get they're supposed to be "fun" prime versions of themselves, but that doesn't excuse the fact they have way to high a stats.

I'm a massive Cro Cop/Wand fan, huge.
And even I'm looking at their stats going "Lolwut"

I mean, Cro Cop, Mirko Cro Cop has the highest clinch throws in HW (94) tied with Cain Velasquez.

Yeah some of the stats are a little weird. Cro Cop clinch throws & switch stance (he never shifts to orthodox) strike me as a couple. Wand's chin is probably too high. Tito's striking power.

At the same time, I prefer good, usable versions of these fighters rather than ones nerfed into the ground just because they are from prior generations. I'd be cool with small adjustments, but if I come back and Wand's power is dramatically lower or he has way less stamina or Cro Cop has no chin I'll be super mad

Pretty much all these guys were one dimensional, two dimensional at best. Cro Cop = dedicated specialist kickboxer with great TDD and the ability to survive on bottom. Wand = ferocious in-the-fire striker with scary knees. Kimbo = power puncher with no ground game etc.

As long as all these guys' main strengths are preserved, some of them could probably use nerfs to areas they truly weren't strong in (like Cro Cop clinch throws and Tito standup power). Could probably also use a SMALL health nerf. Wand seems to have a chin on par with prime Hunt in the game and I don't think even in his prime Wand could absorb the same level of punishment.

I guess I'm just worried the wrong adjustments would be made. I prefer these guys to be good, fun and usable vs "realistic" and garbo trash that nobody uses.

You're the biggest whiner the board has, so telling people to stop complaining about this when you've made a hundred posts about the same thing is hilarious. Your agenda is so transparent and you think nobody can see through it.

You have absolutely terrible striking and you either can't or refuse to get better at it. You love the fact that you have a guy with ridiculous ground stats, great striking, and a massive chin rating so you have several crutches to lessen the chance you'll get exposed with your one dimensional playstyle.
