I'm not trying to box with him per se. I mainly use his Muay Thai, Teeps and oblique/side kicks. Try to keep the distance, and if they get too close, I counter them with either a knew or elbow, a liver hook or a straight moving in. But sometimes, against good pressure fighters, I feel it's hard to avoid boxing. Unless I want to spam the knee and elbows (which I don't).

They're good because of their movesets, if you used them you would know.

Aldo has MT Combos Level 5, RDA Level 3, Aljamain Traditional Combos Level 3 I believe and both him and RDA have Kneebar Counters. Edgar Boxing Level 4 or 5, Dominick has his special hidden combo list, and solid combinations, TJ has the crane kick, front kick, ducking roundhouse, switch stance hook, solid TDs etc etc. I could go on and on about them.

I even threw in McGregor because he has the side kicks, 99 power hooks along with a Level 4/5 boxing combo list, solid traditional combos, and sneaky counter subs from bottom. Another solid moveset.

I know... The clinch is probably my biggest weakness in this game. There's nothing wrong with it in terms of mechanic (it's a bit static, but that's another thing), but I just can't get the denials down in the clinch. I know all the denials on the ground, but the clinch just feels different. I'm always just guessing, as the camera angle is different from time to time, so it's a different direction I have to denial. And the transition fakes REALLY get me in the clinch. They can on the ground as well, but the fakes in the clinch leads to sooo many TD's. That consequence isn't really present on the ground, so while I'm a solid ground grappler, I usually stay away fromt he clinch. Especially since I don't like being taken down if I'm using Jon Jones haha.
