60 frames per second for UFC4

I feel like this is the one thing that benefits everyone. From casuals, to competitive, to sim.

The game looks and plays so much better at rendered 60FPS I dont see any reason we shouldnt push for locked actual 60FPS for UFC4.

Show the Devs this is unanimous!

    Can I get an amen?

Amen! Even if they have to sacrifice visual fidelity, gameplay over graphics. It’ll be worth it IMO.

Re: 60 frames per second for UFC4

UFC 1~3 people talk about we need 60fps
but they still give us lock 30fps

man , what if 2020 year we still lock 30fps
          What the ......

          60fps must do !
this is sports and fighting game
and u still use 30fps ? that's crazy and bad

Then you said that 30FPS is looks better
How can you say that ,
          We must play and control
          Not just watching

          creative director Brian Hayes
as well what frame rate the game would be targeting.
          Hayes stated that,
“The game runs at 1080p, and renders at 30fps with motion blur.

“We’ve found that going to 60fps doesn’t have a hugely beneficial impact,
and people in testing have told us that the game actually looks better at 30fps with motion blur.”

people remember you talk about this,
and u still give us lock 30fps
          stop 30fps , we need 60fps

These games run like crap on the regular ps4, crazy how UD3 was 60 fps on a ps3 yet EA has failed to hit it over 3+ years of making these games on new technology.

You shouldn't have to go spend 400$ plus on a ps4 pro/X1X to enjoy this game how it should be.

Re: 60 frames per second for UFC4

They should definitely implement some kind of "High FPS" option for regular PS4.

Drop the lighting, shadows. Muscle physics, resolution, whatever. Give the players the option!

I play on Pro so it doesn't even affect me really but I think regular PS4 should get the option.

I'd also love to see an in-depth Dev post on how the 60FPS works, I'm positive in the past they've said the BGS is still 30FPS and only the visual output is actually upped to 60FPS.

Except they said it in a way that made sense haha.

^^^ PLEASE. We need a true 60fps, and therefore some visual fidelity must be sacrificed but it's worth it.

Yep! Basically, the game renders the animations/movement/everything on screen at 60fps, but the background simulations that handles all the strike data/frame data runs at 30fps so there's parity between base consoles and their upgraded counterparts. I'm still happy that we got 60fps over 30 on Pro, but my hope is that UFC 4 features a true 60fps for both consoles, with frame timings on par with a proper 60fps so we get a much more responsive game by default.

Competitive play is talked about all the time yet there is such a discrepancy between so many factors among players, namely a gaming monitor and the Pro/One consoles. UFC 4 should absolutely run at 60 FPS for all consoles. There's no need to elaborate further.

Re: 60 frames per second for UFC4

I've purposefully deprived myself of PS Pro so that the jump in graphics & performance is even more noticeable at the next generation.........although I sort of regret doing that for UFC 3, now that I've heard several people talk about how it's vastly superior @ 60 fps and worth the investment.

                      Doh!

Guess that's what I get for being cheap.

Well....assuming UFC 4 comes out on PS Pro I will just have to buy one, as well as a 1ms Monitor. Time to stop living in the stone age and handicapping myself against these up and coming kids...I need every advantage I can get, getting old fast and I'm not on that TB 12 diet

Or maybe it should be made sure that nobody is at such a great disadvantage that they have to spend a lot of money on a new console and a monitor just to be on an even playing field with their opponent.

                          I already have PS4
At this moment, I don't want to buy PS4 PRO anymore.
We all know that PS5 is on the road.
If I buy it, I will have another PS4.
                          No, Thank you
