UFC 3 fighters who won't be in UFC 4

With a little bit of talk about UFC 4, and a recent MMA news headline about Tom Duquesnoy retiring from MMA, it had me thinking. What fighters are we potentially going to lose in the transition to UFC 4?

Do you think retired fighters like Duquesnoy now, will be removed from the roster for UFC 4? I know many of the retired legends get to stay, but hows that work for lesser known guys?

Here's a few I can think of that may not make the cut:

Johnny Hendricks - Signed to Bkfc
Bec Rawlings - Signed to Bkfc
Lyoto Machida - Signed to Bellator
Tim Johnson - Signed to Bellator
Erick Silva - Signed to Bellator
Leslie Smith - Signed to Bellator
Sergio Pettis - Signed to Bellator
Cris Cyborg - Signed to Bellator
Vitor Belfort - Signed to One Fc
Eddie Alvarez - Signed to One Fc
Sage Northcutt - Signed to One Fc
Demetrius Johnson - Signed to One Fc
Ben Ngyen - Signed to Rizin
Justin Scoggins - Signed to Rizin
Brandon Moreno - Signed to LFA
Will Brooks - Signed to PFL
Ruslan Magomedov - Lifetime Usada Ban
Mark Hunt - Free Agent, said he's not resigning with UFC
Hyun Gyu Lim - Cut from UFC
Teruto Ishihara - Cut from UFC
Elias Theodorou - Cut from UFC
Wilson Reis - Cut from UFC
John Lineker - Cut from UFC
Abel Trujillo - Sexual Assault of a Child, most likely getting CUT

Retired Fighters:
Travis Browne
Stefan Struve
Rumble Johnson
Dan Kelly
Jake Ellenberger
Mike Pyle
Ross Pearson
Evan Dunham
Bobby Green
Dennis Bermudez
Tom Duquesnoy
Urijah Faber
Jimi Manuwa
Alexander Gustafsson

Keep in mind EA doesnt seem to remove fighters unless the UFC asks them to remove them (there is a reason Pascal Krauss is still in the game) so I think the retired guys are safe unless the UFC specifically wants them gone.

Faber is especially safe because of his Hall of Fame status and has mentioned he is coming back.

Any chance that these guys would get their prime stats? Let's say by some miracle Johny Hendricks stays in UFC 4. I'd imagine that people would rather see Hendricks with stats from 2013-14 rather than 2017.

Wow, Elias Theodorou was just cut from UFC, despite being 8-3 with the promotion, and 3-1 in his last 4. Crazy.

Wilson Reis was also cut.

I hope they don't ask for anyone to be removed. In fact, I hope they bring back all the fighters they took out (they wont).

I just don't see any actual evidence that having fighters that have moved on to other organizations is detrimental to their overall promotional business.

I've never met someone who watches a non-UFC promotion regularly that isn't also watching damn near UFC event also.

Its kinda hard to have actual evidence to prove that. With that said, the UFC isnt interested in promoting other promotion's fighters. There are two ways to look at this:

Take Gegard Mousasi. Lets say he was still in the game and we rated him well. Someone plays the game, sees Mousasi, wonders why he hasnt fought in the UFC in a while, looks him up and sees he has a fight for Bellator coming up and the person decides to watch the fight.

There is a flip side to that too. Someone knows Mousasi is in Bellator, discovers he's in UFC 4 and decides to buy the game for that reason.

At this point, who the hell knows whats going to happen or why the UFC is comfortable using the likeness rights for classic fighters like Ortiz or Sonnen but not comfortable with using those rights for lesser known fighters.
