I dont know the release date but my guess would be no. EA marketing doesnt try to make sure trailers or news coincides with announcements at shareholders meetings.

I'm not a manager or anything like that, but here's how I would do it, I think. Once a certain point has passed, like July/August, I'd shift it to the PS5/Series X. Yes, you'll lose early sales, but it'll hold up better in the long run when all the new consoles are all the rage and then down the line when people look back.

Having said that, shifting to new consoles near release date is a bit of a development nightmare if you leave it too late. Normally I would say "leave it where it is", so to speak, but aren't these new consoles designed to make the transition as smooth as possible? Same core architecture.
I would like to agree with you. I really would. But I feel like If they did that this series would lose a little bit of steam. But I’m inclined to believe you since there has been zero news thus far. I really hope we’re not looking at another UFC 1 scenario i.e. like 50 playable fighters and a learning process to boot

I hope that UFC 4 will leave for the current generation of consoles, that it will only leave for the new generation, on the one hand EA runs the risk that even these new consoles are not fully entrenched in the market, and with it the drop in sales of the game, and I as a user distrust the game of the new generation, these games always tend to be less complete, focus on graphic improvements and little else, the rest of sections will be much more basic which would be a real nuisance.

Yeah, I'm not buying a PS5 anytime soon. I barely use the PS4 as is.

Well, with the PS4 I enjoy a lot even with titles like AO Tennis, PES 2020, FIFA 20 although somewhat less than the PES because of the Konami game I love being able to edit teams and players and of course UFC 3, and if took the PS3 and I put the UD3

Re: POSSIBLE Release Date Info Tomorrow (1/30)

[quote=aholbert32;2050015835]So January 30, 2020 is when EA has their Quarter 3 earnings call for its stockholders. So what does this have to do with UFC 4?

Well, EA typically releases a calendar that shows when it plans to release games for its next 4 quarters. Now sometimes the calendar gives a specific release date other times it just the quarter it will be released.

For example, UFC 3 was announced officially in November 2017 but.....EA actually announced it during an earnings call in July 2017

UFC 4 wasnt mentioned in the last call but I have a feeling it will be tomorrow. We may not get the exact date but we will at least hopefully know the range.

Here is an example of the slides that accompany the call. The key slide is page 6.

Can you post it if they do? Because i dont know were to check. All i know is they will be posting at 5 pm est time.
