Simple submission.

Recently i put on simple submission and its better imo i don't like the mini game. But one problem i accidentally skipped the tutorial and can't find anywhere how to defend correctly. Do i just spam the x button or is there a rhythm? How do i not get submitted with simple submission? So i looked all over youtube to try and find the answer and found nothing.and on google still nothing. Someone please help me with this.

It depends on how much stamina both of you have when the sub is sunk in.

You just mash it repeatedly there’s no rhythm.

This and stats. This is obvious but you have a greater chance in finishing if you have a high sub O rating against someone with a low sub D rating.

Thank you and john mangala for clarifying. Thats embarrassing lol i was sprinting/exploding with the x button. So I'd spam x as fast as possible then stop for 2 sec then repeat.

I would personally max out the submission speed in custom sliders, or else you'll be mashing the X button 'til your finger turns blue.

I had the impression that it was harder to escape subs against hard AI compared to the minigame. Sometimes I mash it to oblivion (and I know how to mash, trust me) and just fail. But maybe it just happened on the "hard" submissions, like the guillotine against the fence. Just a thought.

No Your right. Its almost impossible to escape submissions if you even out the sliders. You have to lower down cpu slider. Only downfall is it then gets to easy to sub the ai. Its a mess, lets hope they fix this in ufc 4.
