They want recognizable fighters on the cover and he’s probably the biggest star in the UFC behind Conor. He’s one of the most likely.

EA UFC
Jon Jones: 7-8 fights within 3 years -> Cover Athlete
Alexander Gustafson: 4 fights within 2 years + Biggest Fight against Jon Jones-> Cover Athlete

EA UFC 2
Conor Mc Gregor 7-8 fights within 3 years -> Cover Athlete
Ronda Rousey 5 fights within 2 years -> Cover Athlete

EA UFC 3
Conor Mc Gregor 3 fights within 1.5 years -> Cover Athlete

EA UFC 4
Khabib Nurmagomedov 4 fights within 4 years -> Cover Athlete???

It makes sense from a dominant figure in the UFC that hasn't lost a single fight yet, to be on the cover, but he is not nearly as active or as exciting of a fighter, when he fights once a year and is a wrestler instead of an exciting stand-up knockout artist, like Israel Adesanya for example or Francis Ngannou, both of whom are constantly active and exciting to watch.

If it wasn't for the virus, I could easily see as a cover Israel Adesanya vs Jon Jones or Jon Jones vs Francis Ngannou or Khabib vs Tony. Also if DC or Dominick Cruz weren't KO'ed in their last fights, they'd be more active than Khabib and make a good arguement as well.

And he has said some pretty ****ed up ****. So I don't know if I want him on the cover. But whatever I won't get into that.

We might find out tomorrow, I'd imagine the cover star is featured in the reveal trailer.

Khabib has more IG followers than the bolded fellas combined. Lack of fans isn't his problem.

I honestly believe it is going to be Izzy at one of his last post fight conferences he was asked about UFC 3 and he said he doesn't touch the game because his character model is jacked up. So I'm betting they got him in the studio before all the craziness went down and did some mo cap work and photos for a cover.

He's the most popular fighter after Conor.

Re: UFC Gameplay and Tuning Closed Beta

I'm guessing another co fighter cover with Nunes and Khabib on it. Nunes has had a crazy run, and Khabib is the guy who beat Conner. Both beat "The Man" or "The Woman" of their respective divisions, so that theme ties them together.
