Purchase 3 or wait for 4?

I enjoyed 2 except for Career Mode. I know Career Mode in 3 isn’t much better. I didn’t purchase 3 after playing the trial on EA access before the release but I’ve heard the game has improved and it’s generally cheap.

For someone that didn’t play 3, worth it to wait 4 or just buy 3 cheap? Mostly will play offline. Curious since folks that played the beta feel 4 will be an big upgrade?

4 would sell me if they blow out career mode.

3 would get you used to the striking. I wouldnt pay more than like 15 bucks tho

Edit. I didnt read your post at all. 4 will have a way better career mode

Been waiting my for 4... recently put a friend onto UFC 3 and it’s base striking is similar to 4 is some aspects.

In your case, I’d say get ufc 3 for cheap and wait it out a bit for the updates to hit 4 before purchasing.

From the footage and everything I’ve read so far from the new game, it’s gotten a thumbs down... who knows, they can prob patch some things down the road like they did in the last game.

I would wait a month and get ufc 4. I dont know I prefer new games to old. The gameplay features are a big change, good enough to drive you offline. Offline ai is better this year too so that might be more fun for you.

There are less offline modes so that might be a drawback.

Good stuff, probably will wait on 4 until it goes cheap and the bugs are worked out.

Sold my EA MMA a few years ago. Loved that game, might have to find a copy for a bit. Or a copy of UD3. I have the old 2010 but hate the decay system. Still have UFC 2 also. Played it the other day but have to relearn the ground defense. Annoyed getting reversed into full mount.

UFC 4 at the moment is a bargain bin game. I'd buy for 10 dollars on sale

Wait for 4. A lot of people here will never be satisfied and they expect perfection, knocking down a good game. 3 is too exploitable and cheese, 4 looks dope af, better and more fluid.
The EA Devs never had a chance on here. Too many people tripping and projecting their idea of what a game should be (they just wanna be able to exploit)
I honestly feel bad for the EA Devs. They put out great content

If you're an offline player I strongly recommend waiting until UFC 4.
