It’s really weird. They just hold onto your arm and you can’t punch or anything. Only transition. When they finally do let go to transition out I can pretty much rain down hammer fists and keep them trapped In that position, but I have personally tried holding their arm when I am in the same position and can’t figure out how to replicate it against the AI. Anyone know how?

That’s the new backside animation. Just go to backside and the bottom fighter will control your hand. Posture up to strike.

Yeah I really like this change a lot. That position was way too easy to exploit.

Unless I'm misunderstanding what you mean, just hold block in that position to grab your opp's arm.

Oh nice! I didn’t know there was a posture up on this position now. Thanks John

You played the full 10 hours of the trial and didn't know this?

Didn’t find myself in the position often enough. And when I did I was trying to obtain back mount, and or using the hammer fists to rain down punishment. When I tried to replicate it in practice mode against skilled AI my opponent usually went right to securing back mount so I didn’t really get to see my guy was automatically doing it
