Can someone explain how they work? It feels like a win only gets you 15-20 points but a loss can cost you 40-60 points

It probably varies on your opponent's rating and what fighters you use. I'd imagine that losing to a div 20 player will reduce your rank less than losing to a div 5 player.

Tomi is right, im in div 20 and i lost to a guy around 1100 rating and he snatched alooot. The rating system is used in alot of games, i remember it from WoW etc. The system is good imo.

Facing alot of lower ranked smurfs does not feel fair tho, imo there should be max 2-300 rating difference in the matchmaking.

I am only div 4-7 and constantly get matched with div 15+
