PlayStation 5 - UFC4?

So games are going to be backwards compatible and I haven’t seen anything online saying UFC will have any glitches or errors playing on the 5. Will playing this game on enhanced mode on the PS5 put me at an advantage over ps4 users?

UFC 4 will be fully backwards compatible. I believe it will be the same difference as someone playing 4 on the Pro vs. someone playing on an original PS4.

I have no expectations for Next-Gen Enhancements. Don't think they are going to do it tbh.
We'll see..

I dont think they are going to make any changes to the game for the new consoles, like the haptic feedback for the ps5 controller (though in the future with fighting games that could be awesome really feeling power of certain strikes and movement)

Backwards compatible yes but you'll not get any "edge" by using it on the ps5. It just means that it'll allow you to play it on the ps5 if you want to but you'll still get the same performance you got on the ps4 because no changes are being made to the game for next gen.

If they waste time adding dumb crap like haptic feedback for the ps5 instead of fixing the numerous massive gameplay issues people will be super pissed hah. I for sure would be.

How about we make the game good on the current console before we start worrying about it on the next gens...

I think you’re severely underestimating the priority of EA. They clearly aren’t catering to anyone but the casual fan now. The haptics and he rumble are definitely things that they’re going to implement before they fix any game breaking issues the hardcore has problems with.

I doubt they do a complete overhaul right now but bet your *** they’ll do it on ufc5

I think HDR was added, don’t remember having that feature on the Xbox one x

UFC 5 bro? Can we focus on fixing this **** game first.... ? UFC 5 might as well me 10 years from now dude who cares. Yeah Im sure they'll do all kinds of **** and hopefully it's not as crappy as UFC 4. I don't think it's just casuals that want changes like, stamina to actually have an affect on movement, like leg kicks to actually affect mobility, like inputs actually working and without delay, like getting rid of the ****ty *** 1 div an hour.

Lets focus on that first before we think about the fun little rumbles in our handsies they'll give us on UFC 5! Yay!

Haptics are actually a pretty big deal. I hope they go in and push out a PS5 enhancement update, even if it's just to give us 4k 60FPS and some haptics.

Did it need to? They basically just announced that loading times would be considerably improved. That's all. Are you saying that's not the case?

@GrindFactor: I think it's pretty much a given we'll see a UFC5 in 2022 (the latest). Actually: if I were EA, I'd put the game on their sub service and just release a new one in late 2021. If the numbers are correct and people are playing UFC3 more (I doubt it), that's probably better.
