Barebones is in the eye of the beholder. I’m an offline player so the lack of improved offline modes, barely updated roster and removal of features from past versions makes the game a step back.

With that said, there are PLENTY of people who don’t give a **** about that and are absolutely happy with the gameplay improvements and other features they added.

Might have to pick it up and try again, only took 6 months to fix incredibly egregious problems.

Is the striking like UFC 3 now with more stamina punishment as it should’ve been? Or can people still throw 150 punches for 3+ rounds.

it’s unfortunate that we don’t have offline modes that are fun and hold us in the game. a title mode would be ideal. improve event mode.
in Kumite, backyard and action avenue we could exchange the fighters' clothes for unlocked or purchased clothes ... in short, they must out of obligation and a matter of honor, give us the option to choose our fighters' shorts and their colors!

fighters are free to choose their model of shorts in real life. suppose Kamaru Usman wears valetudo shorts for the next fight, so the game will look out of date ...

You are correct but nowadays they all want to lure people to online modes. If nobody plays online people somehow declare the game "dead" and move on to another one. I don't get the logic behind this, but then again, I'm an offline player.


To oblige them as a matter of "honor" is a bit ridiculous, but it bothers me too because these things should be ridiculously easy to implement. All you need is some sort of customization menu like the WWE games. Instead of providing model updates years after, just allow players to change the hairstyles and short models. That way you can keep your 'universe' fully updated yourself. They won't have to release updates anymore. It sounds stupid, but I would pay much for this additional 'menu' if it enables me to do some sort of Universe mode.

What do you guys do to keep things realistic and stay engaged offline? Sliders, house rules, etc.?
