Short colours ?

Are you going to sort this issue out ? All the previous ea ufc games you could change the shorts colours so why has this not been patched in yet !

I’ve been impressed with the updates to the roster and new hair styles but we need the shorts colour changing to improve this game especially for CAF !

Come on devs we need this please !

As i have posted only the red corner has the fighters colors but the blue corner they all wear black even though the fighter select shows the correct color.

I'm normally a fan of "minimalistic" style, but some other options would be good. Last month we finally got some shorts with sponsors slapped on.



Even if they ignore the colors, it'd be fine, but as rob3563 mentions, it's just all-black vs all-black, which is borderline ridiculous. Let's have white vs black then, but at least differentiate.

Yeah I'm usually not against minimalistic style either, but it's just that having like 8 different kits, that only differentiate in color, for over 500 fighters is just dissapointing.

This entry in the EA UFC catalogue is baffling. I nowhere near enjoy the game like I did 3. Don't get me wrong, theres been some improvements but I guess I value attention to detail. The inability to change shorts colors, the goofy out of place "are you ready" pose downs, the way the skipping of cut scenes is now (cant skip to 2nd entrance or TotT anymore...ya just go directly to the fight) can't edit stats and moves for cafs, the clinch grappling dimension of the sport being basically non existent.....all of which were already a part of the series

C'mon now is it really that hard to edit/personalize some text so you don't get these compelling fighter breakdowns like:

"Has won 10 fights in career
Has lost 5 fights in career
Has 15 fights in career."

Would love to have been a fly on the wall during creative discussions to hear the rationale for "fixing" things that weren't broken. It's only a game and I shouldn't be this whiney about it...but c'mon...essentially removing clinch battling? Insanity. I know I sound like a broken record but this really needs to be sounded off on because it needs to be back in the game for 5.

Some people might lack basic deduction skills? These "breakdowns" are especially funny considering the record is just projected mere seconds later, making all 3 rather obsolete. How hard can it be to have the game detect "has been submitted twice", "never finished" or "avg fight time 5 minutes". The info is all there. But I'm so desperate that I'm content that the personal fight data is back, as it was absent before.


But the reality is that several people, including me, just skip the intros altogether. Then again, you can ask yourself: why? Maybe people skip it because it contains no personal data and is just the same thing (animation, commentary, breakdowns) all over again. And with no pressers and weigh-ins, I don't feel the need to go the immersive route and just play the fights. Ea's nudging you to do it and it works.

The most ironical and characteristic thing in this game is when you finish by headkick KO, and Jon Anik says something like "I'm sure we'll find that headkick somewhere in these highlights", when in fact, you can not see the actual headkick due to the ridiculous replays.

It's frankly ridiculous that other major sports games can get accurate full football and basketball uniforms in their games every year, but EA UFC can't get shorts right. Just shorts.

Then there's the fact that tops have been messed up since launch for female career mode fighters, but if they can't get shorts right of course they'd **** up tops, too.

The fact that it happened wasn't a big deal to me. Bugs happen nowadays. But the fact that it was literaly reported a day after release, supposedly acknowledged by the devs and to this day they still blatently refuse to fix it. What else am I to think than that they're incompetent.


The top glitch is also a horrid eyesore that they refuse to fix. Someone should contact a game journalist to make a story about how EA treats the women as a side-act and unleash the twitter mob on them. Some people claim it happens to men as well but so far I haven't seen this on their custom tops.
