Any recent patches or updates?

Hey, I haven’t played EA UFC 4 in four months.

Was just wondering if there have been any notable gameplay patches or updates in this time?

When was the last update/patch?

Thanks. Also curious how the online scene is these days. What type of tactics / playstyles are prevalent at the top level? Is it mostly unrealistic / cheesy / anti-sport strategies, or are there guys out there actually keeping distance, playing legit? Also are there grapplers at the top level or is it like EA UFC 3 where it’s 99% kickboxers?

Just saw a FB post about "Prime Icons". People were 'discussing' which fighters would be added. If they will add indeed prime versions of the fighters, I expect to see both Anderson and Wanderlei Silva, Big Nog, GSP and Shogun.



I'm honestly afraid they will just add more... actual icons. I couldn't care less about that degree of 'customization'. I don't even have a background on my cell phone, why would I want a background on the main screen?

So the final update seems to be live.


They added Islam and prime Anderson, and for some reason a "prime Khabib", as if he's no longer in his prime now. There's literaly no difference afaik. What a joke.

And... of course... there are actual icons, just as I thought. The update comes to us in an amazing 5+ gig package. One wonders where that space goes to.

This statement made me laugh out loud. "My phone background is a solid color! I don't want a game background and nobody else should either!" I know that's not exactly what you're saying, but I found your post funny.

I just loaded up the game and seeing a 5 gig patch threw me off. I'm not sure what the current state of the game is outside of stand and bang, but hopefully, there's something decent here.

I don't see any error in the logic there. And I'm just talking about my preference. Where do you get the generalisation? For the record: I did put in a background in this game, just because it's there. Maybe it's funny that I mention it, but I'm not the only one that don't treat this as "content". It's cosmetics, but far from the level of skins and attires.



After checking the content out I found there are actually tops that come with the new textures. That's a first. Maybe they are listening. When I do a female CaW career I never took a top because the textures never matches with the bottom gear. Small things, but they annoy me.

I was just messing with you a bit. Yes, it was more that you included that information in your post than anything else. We all have preferences, so I get it.

I hate all of the crazy-looking characters and costumes. I don't feel like they have any businesses in a game like UFC. Fortunately, they give me the option to disallow them when playing online.

That is not Pride Overeem lol - Pride Overeem was a twig and was far from his juiced prime.


His health stat is a joke too btw, way too high.
