Re: UFC5 FY23 Q4 ?

Just recently started playing UFC 4 again because of the void in the fighting game world. Still find that I’m forcing myself to play through the career mode. Everything is so bland and lifeless and the fighters have this mannequin/stiff feel. I hope 5 introduces better presentation along with more organic movement.

The first hours were fun for the first time, with the segments in-between. From then on, it was a railroad towards the title. No TUF, no muay thai or backyard fights to kick off the career, despite it being in the game (with arena's, outfits and everything). Just fight, increase stats, repeat. In-between you're doing weird challenges and get beaten up by a non-fighter. It was a bit frustrating.

Fighters all feel the same, and I felt I never actually switched tactics as everybody was fine trading punches for the whole fight. They should bring back the presser and the weigh-in to have at least some buildup to a fight.

I personally am excited to see the game on the frostbite engine. I hope this also means it comes to pc and we can mod it and put what we want in the game.

Be careful with that assumption. WWE2k22 is almost unmoddable afaik, and many AAA titles have next to no mods. So I doubt this one will be moddable, which would be great, considering how it would attract more people to the franchise.
