Is it normal for dudes to quit in ranked?

I'm no stranger to quittin but it's not because of rage. (Just ask my secret admirer) I would never quit in ranked.

In UFC one the penalties were severe for quitting. I just started playing ranked again, just about to level five, and nearly 50% of opponents quit. Then I get the "your fight outcome is currently being processed. Please try again"

It's not like I exploit or that I'm good and just smash people, just ask anyone I've played against here at ufc 2.

I ususally quit very laggy matches, no point in playing them. Also I exit so I don't have to watch the unskippable victory scene, but sometimes I do it too early

I quit when all the opponent does is repetitively go for the thai clinch. I spend 1 whole round denying/break out of the clinch, then rd 2 and they continue... i'm not wasting my time.

You should really start penalizing repeated clinches and consecutively broken clinches.. so cheap. Is this how Div 4 and above is??? It's horrible to play these type of people.

Or if anyone can give me tips on how to deal with these cheap mofos it would be MUCH appreciated!

If opponent is spamming clinch you should get 10 points for quitting and being smart, clinch spammers should get relegated to division 1

It turns out ragequitters are the reason we get the Penalty Modifier on occasion. If two people ragequit against you in a row you'll lose points in the third fight because of it.

Ragequitters need to pull their skirt up. It's only a video game, and you've already lost. No point in quitting.

Time for EA to add more severe consequences for ragequitting.

What? I had probably 5 in a row rage quit in division 4, lame

That makes no sense. Why should I lose points if the other guy ragequits?
