I had this yesterday by some douche using Ferguson and going for a 2-gate heel hook. Escaped the submission but then the douche kept on taunting and running around the cage just to do another heel hook attempt every couple minutes. He got a 29-28 decision as well from the judges, pathetic game sometimes.

I feel you. I just quit out on then half the time if they start the fight in that BS lol. I want respectable scraps out here.

The glove touch animation is way less overt than it was last year. If you don't start the animation as soon as you begin coming forward, I assume we aren't touching and get right to fighting. If you try to do it after 4-5 steps and get hit, that's your own fault imo.

If they try some fake touch nonsense, I usually like to draw it out and punish them for 3 rounds before going for the KO.
