Yeah man, you're right....apparently . I was talking about "Fighter Set Showpiece Collectibles". In every "Queens Birthday Pack" there was one of these Showpiece objects. I got one in all three of them. Also there is no one at YT I saw opening them up who didn't get a showpiece collectible.
see here or here.

So after I bought that three they disappeared along with their description. After that I considered buying one of the Bundles..... fought hard with me, and thought, ahh f"%& it, don't be a dick and spend that 10 bucks. I really was in an impression (and apparently I'm not alone) to get 4 showpieces. After Having a hard time on the chat they finally answered with this:

Quote:
Dear ,

Thanks for the wait, this is EA following up with your case

Checking on this, we do see all 4 packs in the tool being added to the account, so it actually did give 4 packs,

Showcase cards arent always one single item like what was mentioned on the queen pack, so it's assumed that it would be different than what is advertised just like the other games it could be a player, item, consumable,

Unless it says specifically what item it is, it could be anything. sorry to say, as much as we would like to proceed refunding this purchase, we will not proceed with this as item has met the details of the purchase.

We have closed this case for now . You can reach us at help.ea.com for further assistance
So firstly they confused showcase cards with showpieces themselfs. But legally they might be completely Ok, because even though there WAS a showpiece in every QueensPack, they didn't guaranteed.....
Very misleading, and I feel nonetheless cheated. I feel I were better off with two Event Packs and a Premium for my 10K. I really thought the high pricing IS actually because of that 4 showpieces.

Yeah, but saying that it contains the value of 4 Queen packs, (1 Queen pack equals one fighter set card) it's implying that it would contain 4 fighter set cards, but it doesn't,so it's a rip off descriptionwise.
Edit: ok, I thought the set piece cards were guaranteed in the regular Queen packs. Giving that impression just to shatter it with the 10 bucks pack is a even bigger ripoff actually lol

I personally could notagree more. The point is: The description about Queens Packs does say NOTHING about getting showpieces, even though there was one in each of them. But they were not "guaranteed". I really think there was a clever marketing *whatever* doing it on bad intentions, giving away a showpiece in an affordable pack, but you can only buy 3 of them, and you had "INCREDIBLE" luck on every one (everyone had this "luck" on these packs). Then there are 4 of them equaling 1K (4*250) in a bundle which u only can buy with real money. So I guess I have to credit that trick, luring me into buying one of these.
Cheat me once, shame on you, cheat me twice, shame on me. NEVER EVER SPENDING REAL MONEY ON UFC POINTS.

The worst part was that second chat, trying to tell them I was NOT talking about ShowCASE cards, but about showPIECES. He watched YT Videos first, agreed that there should be 4 ShowPIECES, talked to "specialists" to refer back to the email which I already got, saying that they confirmed I got everything i was supposed for. Circumventing the fact, that the whole case is all about misleading (at best!) descriptions of packs. Then telling me, that he said everything he could and hang up on me. VERY RUDE! After the last EA games (BF hardline, SW Battlefront) I am really considering buying a game from them ever again. Maybe UFC 3, but will never preorder it, and just if it is really an advance over UFC2. But who cares about a couple of customers? EA apparently not. They don't need me. But the good thing is, I don't need them either.

Being in a rage I wonder if "digital goods" are just nothing for me, or generally BULLS#17?

I think the name of the pack was what caused the confusion lol when you hear the word "bundle" you assume as it is, a bundle of 4 individual packs each with one fighter showpiece just like the indivual 7500 coin queens packs. They really should have called it "queens jumbo pack" if it's just going to be one big pack with a guaranteed Bisping showpiece. I think that would have cleared the confusion of what contents were included in the pack.

Sure "Jumbo Pack" would have made that very clear. But based on their reaction I cannot think of something else than that this was well intended. Adding the fact that this Pack was available for UFC Points ONLY, and was the same amount (4*250 UFC Points a Pack), I cannot see a reason why they didn't sell it for 30K Coins. It made it feel to be something special (like the guaranteed 5* Packs for 400 UFC Points), while it was in fact worse than anything advertised at that time. Also adding that you could buy just 3 "limited Queens Birthday Packs", was one of the reasons which convinced me to spend cash. Reviewing every fact it was a well done fraud on EA's side. They successfully lured people into spending cash on that crap, and there is nothing (legally) you can do against it. I appreciate the heist and remember...

But I cannot accept that this is "just a big misunderstanding", a "bad naming issue" or something accidental. Every aspect of it points to intention. I really can't remember exactly what was guaranteed on a "Queens Birthday Pack"... Wasn't it "5 Cards, 2 3* guaranteed, every showcase is a british"? NOBODY (maybe some hardcore fans) would have bought more than one pack, if there wasn't a showpiece inside. A shame that they used the bday of the Queen for their fraud.

One could prove me wrong if there is someone who bought a "Q bday Pack", and didn't find a showpiece in it. If that is not the case, you have to argue that EA either forgot to advertise that showpiece on that pack (which is unlikely to do that because it would explain that pricing, and would crash their fraud), or that the RNG got kind of mad on these packs but not on the bundle (REALLY?). Otherwise it must be intended.

Thanks your Honor

Re: Queens birthday bundle

I think it was like " gaurenteed 2 4-star moves, attributes etc." but I don't believe it was guaranteed a fighter set piece in the description. But like you said, I did receive one in each of the indivual packs and also like 2 of the pack had 5-star moves in them(curious if anyone else got the same) so I was like "damn, these are nice packs!" And decided to spend actual cash on them.

Re: Queens birthday bundle

Bought a couple of these packs and got duplicates of the Bisping TUF card and a bunch of 3* moves. Huge waste. Definitly not spending anymore hard earned moolah on any of these packs again. Fool me once guys...

You are right! you can read it here on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_FG6b9y9F4
They guaranteed 4* moves. I did not get one 5* Move on that 3 Packs and the Bundle, still feeling it was a good deal for the pack (got at least a Universal 4* double under), and 3 showpieces without doubes. This was bugging me the whole day n night. "Maaan buy them, you're a fool if you let them just go. You might complete a Collection with 4 more showpieces, but even if not, its worth it." (imagen voice of Joe Rogan ) was the devil saying which EA placed very well inside my head.

The other fun fact is, that I initially planned on buying 2 of them. Ok, I still couldn't use my 1K left UFC Points somewhere else. They already got it. But it was the last money they saw from me. It would have been easy to just give away 4 showpieces (really, they are using nothing having a bad reputation on UT already about pay to win), and get me used into paying to their shady slot machine aka "XY Packs". Is there at least some regulation on their RNG's or are they allowed to do what pleases them. Like giving 4 Showpieces but "Oh bad luck, 3 of them are doubes (intentionaly). You might have better luck the next pack..."? But I better stop before EA might take my ideas as instruction manual.

The more I think about it, and the more facts I hear, the more I appreciate the masterpiece of a fraud. Getting fooled like this might very well be worth that 10 bucks for the experience, and could likely got worse considering the effort they put in it. If they sold like 1000 of them (which is a high estimate i guess) they get lousey 10k for it. Amateurs.
