Question about attribute cards

So I was wondering, if you use an attribute card that raises a stat which is already maxed, is it wasted?

For example, a BJJ character starts out with 72 JSUB, and I have a card that gives +4 JSUB, it should be raised to 76

However, I've already given him several moves that raises his JSUB up to 100. If I use the attribute card now, and I remove all moves later, is the base still 76, or did I use the card for nothing?

As a precaution I now remove all move cards before I apply attribute cards

Your attributes can go over the max, so if you had 100 joint subs with moves and add a +4 joint sub card it will go to 104. Then you can use a card that is -4 joint sub to increase another stat whilst keeping joint submissions at the max. You can go above the max stat but can't go below the minimum stat.

Ah nice, I was afraid I had already wasted a number of cards, nice to see that isn't the case

That being said, if the BASE stat goes over 100 it is wasted, like CHN etc
