Ultimate team of any variation, whether it's UFC or Fifa, is the same. You really need to be spending money to get ahead. Unless you just totally pied the game when it came out.

I don't bother with this mode much, but I'll jump in every now and then before I'm reminded how awful it is. I thought they fixed matchmaking months ago?

I have a 5'10'', 206 boxer that I use at heavyweight. I expect to lose with him a lot, but the stat differences I'm going up against are ridiculous.

I fought this guy recently who was a bum that I oustruck easily. The problem is that my guy is weak and has no chin, so I couldn't hurt him and everyone of his strikes destroyed me. He eventually got a nonsense KO. This isn't fun.

They should keep it open divisions and try to match you up based on overalls.

Try standing with someone when you have a 40 out of 80 chin from a grappler(WBW is even lower @ 38 out of 80 chin), and they have some maxed out super caf......

Ut was an awesome game the first 2 or so months. Than they released those attribute packs or whatever and everyone spent a crazy amount of real money on those packs and the mode went straight to ****.

I've noticed this too and I've had less than 15 fights online on Ultimate Team.

Went about 10-0 until I got promoted to division 2. I noticed throughout these fights that my opponent's stats were considerably better than mine. The fact I'm beating these guys effortlessly in the first round fed my ego a little, considering they're stats were better.


Unfortunately, as I'm playing more and more it's becoming extremely difficulty. I'll beat the crap out of people in the stand up. I'm actually probably better on the ground and can fight off my back quite effectively... But going into later rounds, regardless of whether I've been dismantling my opponent or not, the difference in stamina becomes a huge problem.

I feel like my delay in starting Ultimate Team has probably hindered me a bit, but I can't help but think the matchmaking can be improved to allow people, who won't spend a fortune on this part of the game, the chance to get their stats up without having to lose so many matches against "poorer" players because they're stat advantage is just too much.
