Why EA Sports UFC is a port of MMA

From the trailers, especially the latest one, you can see the same mechanics at play. From the striking to the knockdown animations. Everything is the same...

-Some of the knockdown animations from both are exactly the same
-The striking is exactly the same.

I liked EA MMA so I really dont give a **** if some of the animations are the same.

I agree with the OP.

People didn't realize that The Show was just a port of RBI baseball. Both games have swing animations, pitching animations and fielding animations.

It was never coming to PC. Next gen only.

I wanted a decent UFC title as much as the next fight fan, but it's obvious we're getting a next-gen carbon copy of MMA...
