This is NOT always true if you have ever been in a fight. If you are in a quick exchange, especially going forward you may not always "react". You may feel it...you may absorb it....but every hard hit doesn't knock your head back. In truth the hardest hit or most painful DONT rock your head back.

When you get hit you may not feel but but by the law of physics there is something that will happen. Pull up any fight there's reaction in some way. There's just no animation for it in this game which I don't understand.
