What difficulty do you play on?

Ok so I just finished up my first career as a light heavy weight Muay Thai fighter at 40-0 went into the hall of fame had 1.5mil fans on NORMAL. I bumped up my next career to hard and it's hard let me tell you. I was wondering for those of you that play on hard what is the biggest difference and what becomes more important as far as what do I need to get better at? Blocking? Parrying?

Re: What difficulty do you play on?

I had the same experience. I was 22-0 on normal so I stopped and and started over on hard. I like being a hardcore grappler/submission guy, as a house rule I don't upgrade my punching power or kicking power at all, I leave them at the default. Or if I was striker I wouldn't upgrade my submission offense or takedown offense at all, etc, to stick with a theme and for challenge. I also won't upgrade anything at all once my guy guts 90ovr. I was still mopping dudes on normal tho.

Hard has been better so far, I am only 6-0 but I had to rematch two of my fights on TUF and have had exciting fights since. I find you just have to be quicker especially with ground transitions and defense. The sweeps/reversals come at you fast

Same problem here. Normal was too easy and Hard was, well, too hard. Biggest difference I see is the CPU is more aggressive and does more take-downs and subs. They block and parry better also. Hard to get a good punch or kick to get through. It's difficult at first but as you build up your fighter and upgrade him it does help. I'd work on the ground game some because that's coming in handy for me.

Re: What difficulty do you play on?

Love both of your posts. I'm starting to adjust, 4-0 now all wins by submission lol. It is a lot harder to land punches and kicks on the AI. Took me a little bit to adjust to the higher speed of the submission hub but now I got it down. Enjoying this difficulty much better. Isn't this the difficulty we can unlock Bruce Lee on as well?

Ugh I'm on Easy and still like 18-5 with those 5 fights being the meaningful ones.

Any tips/advice???

Just won a gold "Gracie Pride" trophy for 12 submissions in a row lol. Undefeated on hard. Pretty sure I'm one or two more fights away from a title shot against my boy Benson Henderson who I mocked my CAF to. His name is Benson Andersen haha.

You'll get better if u just keep going at it. Try and apply all the things you train for into a match. Practice makes perfect is really the key cliche.

Re: What difficulty do you play on?

I set my career to Normal and think I'm 16-1, got brutally KO'd by Condit in one match.

Outside of that, I've jumped up to Pro in regular exhibition fights. Probably win > 80% of fights.
