Loving the game so far. I only play online and it's been fun re-learning to play while also learning the new techniques as well. My favorite guys so far have been the Karate guys(Hall, Thompson, Northcutt) and the wrestling brawlers(Hendricks and Mendes).

I'm having the toughest time parrying strikes though.

Both of these are against online opponents

I'm trying to build up the grapple advantage by striking but it seems like it rarely lets you get the first one in.

I'm having the exact opposite issue. When I get on top of someone in the mount, I can end the fight rather quickly just by throwing strikes with some ground and pound action.

It's the only part of the game I find overly easy

It's probably me being useless. I have finished a few fights in the mount but it's not consistent.

Having said that I've just downloaded the new patch and it seems a tad better but it could be a placebo.

Also downloading the patch as we speak. Hopefully it didn't get any easier lol. What difficulty level do you play on?

Oh man that would be amazing if it were to happen.

One of my biggest complaints is not having a sprint button. It would be really useful when an opponent is tired or hurt. Would also be cool if you could get countered running into a punch without caution.

I was playing on hard, then I ventured online. 19-15 so far for me but there are some infuriating things despite them fixing others. I will do a more detailed post later with my findings.

Something like Scott Smith vs Pete Sell in video game form would be amazing.
