I think you built a decent stamina advantage in less than 2 rounds. And I'm guessing Werdum's Stamina is better.

I actually suspect that the stamina logic is pretty good and that for it to shine the stt just has to be low enough. In UT, it's usually OK.

Only because my opponent threw another 84 strikes in the 2nd did I have a gap. Also the majority were at air! That's hardly the advantage I should have - he should barely be able to put together a two punch combo.

So, even with lower stats, do you think the whiff penalties should be higher?

Significantly. Ever sparred and missed a punch and caught nothing but air? Your arm is shot. Absurd the amount that can be thrown in this game. You should have to intelligently pick your shots, and those shots should do realistic damage.

Look at Dos Santos vs Stipe and you'll see how heavyweight stamina should play out.
