Post UFC games are not going to improve in the current generation of consoles.

UFC 1 had 30 fps. UFC 2 has 30 fps.

The console is a lot hotter and the fans are louder on UFC 2 than they were on UFC 1.

In a game where framerate is so important why are we limited to 30 fps? This must be because the current generation of consoles are not powerful enough to run ANY modern AAA title at a stable 60fps.(I've seen indie games struggle to maintain 40 fps on the ps4 console)

What does this say for the future installments of our favourite game? It says that the game isn't going to get any more stable.

I don't see the game getting much if any better if it is LIMITED to next gen consoles like the last 2 installments.

Has anyone else thought of this? It is proven that this generation is becoming obsolete a lot quicker than the PS3 and Xbox 360 did. So will this franchise really get any better with the way things are? I just don't see it.

I would like to hear other people's thoughts on this scenario.

Re: UFC games are not going to improve in the current generation of consoles.

Which leads me to my next point. PCs would have no problem whatsoever running UFC at 100fps nevermind 60.

If we did get a pc version of UFC3 would we be plagued with a Locked 30fps or 60fps on the sole fact that consoles can only manage a stable 30FPS?

Fighting games, shooters and racers are 3 genres that greatly benefit from higher framerate. (This is why Call of Duty dominated the console market for 5+ years. Call of duty has always been 60 fps on consoles where as on Battlefield has been 30. But this was the opposite on PC where frame rate isn't as limited and battlefield dominated that market.)

I feel like the potential of this game is being held back due to the fact that the developers know that the bigger market for fighting games is on console. Meaning we won't get to see the game run how it's intended to.

Anyone got any ideas on how we can make this game better and not make console or pc gamers suffer in the process? (If EA decide to bless PC gamers with the game)

Re: UFC games are not going to improve in the current generation of consoles.

On a lot of AAA games on the xbox they down scale the resolution to make the game have a negligible frame rate. Would anyone like to see this done on console as the game is not very heavily graphically induced in the first place?

You know they're coming out with an upgraded PS4 (and probably XBone) for exactly this reason, right?

This is why people on PC call console players peasants.

If you have nothing too add, jog on.

Its actually so that the console can support virtual reality. It wouldn't be possible under the consoles current specs.

It's VERY unlikely they would allow this external add on to improve framerate of games as it would put people who have bought this device at an advantage to the players who haven't.

So I'd do a bit of research has before being snarky
