In your example, the combo modifier isnt the issue. Its the fact that you decided to stand and bang with someone who was better at throwing combos than you.

naaah everything s allright, everything is beautiful and everything is making sense

had fight Belfort vs Belfort after I just gave up on whole event competition to reach some higher rewards>
so fight started other dude started combo which ended up with body kick, it didn't seems to have any power shots in it, but somehow I ended up with body health event and fight was over
and I was like WOOOOT
so yeah combo multiplier is definitely making sense and one hit to 100% undamaged body part causing health event is making even more sense

I seriously hope some people will wake up and make improve movement, striking, clinch, fix/add/remove/balance autolunge on strikes/kicks, add more counters to kicks, tune down body shots, improve collision physics, and tune down combo multiplier and let it work only for hitting same body part, lag, latency, matchmaking improvements etc etc etc

I am tired of it.
this has potential to be great game and instead it feels like BETA.
ultimate team is one of the best ideas of EA sports in years, it s much more better than older versions in FIFA, NHL etc.
but issues and overall broken gameplay and players abusing poor game mechanics is bringing It all down

PS- and those unrealistic combos omg omg omg..
PS2- I like how u kick head of opponent who s in the middle of capoeira kick, ingame it looks like it just broke his neck right there, but he keep spinning and he finish his kick.. making sense!
if I want another combo spamming fighting game I would go play Killer Instinct or something like that

make this game more realistic for god sake, it s called UFC.
it should be called "Ultimate Endless Running Clinch n Combo Spam" awesome

how about this one.

With a tall fighter like Cerrone.

Sway back (have them miss a strike)

Do two uppercuts in a row and then a headkick.

Or this one, lead body roundhouse, cross, lead body roundhouse, headkick. lulllz

my top favorite, Superman punch - > Superman punch - > Superman punch

I've been wondering if Fight night champion or EA Mma had a combo multiplier. I don't think FNC did, but i do think Ea mma did, due to the crippling stamina drain from stupid body spam combos. Was UFC 1 developed using existing framework from Ea mma? Obviously a lot of overhaul, but possibly by adding a more fluid combo system it brought it to this point. The defense of the CM by saying movement is not being used is kinda weak, the little change direction animation makes movement stiff and awkward and lets be honest jab straight body combos is beyond lame.

Honestly i will be severely disappointed if ufc3 has any combo multiplier function added to it.... Especially, seeing as a large number of their forum community has been vocal about this. Why not give it a chance and remove it for the next game, because i highly see it not happening via a patch for ufc2. IMO, it just forces alot of unnatural combo's to be thrown and cheese tactics to be used, since their isn't much single strike power, you have to throw flurries alot of the time to do any significant damage.

I did this today... I really hate clinch but the guy was a really annoying parry spammer,and worst he wouls use a combo after the parry impossible to defend... so i clinch him out
