Will the patch update the champion one time, or enable it for hotfixes?

So the devs can't patch the champions which I find rather shocking. I thought that was the whole point of the hotfixes... so when you say it's being patched did you mean the hotfix is being patched or just a one time change of the champion?

Patching champions was never the point of hot fixes. Hot fixes have always been online gameplay focused just like they are in most games. Madden has online hot fixes but it needs patches to apply to things that affect both online and offline. Same thing here.

I'm sorry that's not true. The hotfixes were for player stats and champion status is just another stat.

My mistake. I thought you were referring to the online fixes they make to gameplay not the fighter updates they send every few weeks.

With that said, its not as simple as a stat update. With champion status, they need to provide audio to refer the fighter a champion and to change the fighter to the first person you see in the division when selecting a fighter in Fight Now. Most of the fighter updates I recall seeing are simply stat updates (Fighter has 10 wins now has 11) but I could be wrong.
