Broken Account?

Hey lads,
I have a problem atm and it's annoying as hell. When I play in my own account my fighters just won't do any combos. For example when I want to throw a 1-2 I normally press square until he does the first jab and then triangle until he does the second. But nowadays my fighter only does the first jab after a shi* amount of time and then he just watches and eats shots. Same goes for denying clinches, I deny the clinch, my fighter automatically clinches back. The game also feels very slow-paced, I'm getting jab whopped by people who have 20 punch speed less than me. You might say it's all a matter of my personal imagination, but since my mate's account is also accessible on my console I had a few fights on his account and I have to say it's a huuuuge difference. Combos are thrown just as I want them to be, no backclinching bull****, no not reacting to submission gates. Everything feels smooth and right and not delayed. All my characters on my main account are higher than my mate's so what could this be? Is my account really that broken? How can it be that the game feels better on a lower character than on my account with high fighters?
Edit: Same goes for the regular fighting. The same fighters feel completely different on two accounts, one delayed as hell and the other one very smooth
