how u counter standup circle strafing

I don't care if this make me look bad, but seriously how the heck u counter this, this thing appears on LEC and in higher division, and it s really pissing me off
so when I damage opponent and I am trying to put some pressure on him he just keep circle strafing like halfway between middle of octagon and cage, and whatever I do my strikes end up in air

or "running around" can be term also
my movement and speeds are maxed and still cant do a shyte

Try to back them against the cage and clinch
