Is there any way to smoothly switch stances mid combo?

UD3 had switching stance speed perfect. It was nice and fast. This is were I hope EA gives the fighter more freedom to move around faster and just move there body faster in UFC 3.

I wanna jab and slide back plus switch stances but the dam switch stance in UFC 2 takes a few secs and like zombie said it just freezes you. This needs to be gone and the switching needs to be quick.
