On the EA forums you had to select a persona. This is because you can/could have multiple accounts using the same email address. At least you could. Not sure if you can now or not. I know I did it for Battlefield 3 so I could easily switch between accounts on the Battlelog.

Edit: Just checked and there doesn't seem to be a way to pick between them now. That could be an issue.
