Realistically would be doing whatever it takes to win. Bc that's what fighters in real life do.
A boxed the crap out of a guy. Stunned him, then went for the clinch. He couldn't block properly, he escaped the health even, but I clinched him again and got the ko. And he sends a message complaining about the clinch lol. Then admits hes only good at stand up.

I think ppl will always be mad when they don't win or lose in a manner they seem acceptable.

I try to fight realistically. I use spacing, short combos, and mix my strikes. However, I also clinch a little - and aim to fight at least 50% of the fight on the ground.

Now id say that is pretty much exactly what you'd see when you look at averages across a long time series of mma fight data. However, if you read the messages I receive after ever 3-4 fights I'm apparently gay and do fight like (insert homophobic derogatory comment). Oh yeah, and I also get something like 2-3 out of ten fights cancelled during GnP or just as I'm finishing a submission.

So much for trying to fight realistically

Unless I'm fighting against cheese, I like to try and be realistic. I'll stand and bang, if I feel I'm at a disadvantage then I'll go for the clinch or ground game and see how I fair there. Typically avoid abusing he hit stun combos, and enjoying using footwork and head movement

I can't handle realistic, lol. I'm throwing 150 strikes a round with lots of significant strikes. That's with accelerated rounds.

I wish I could do a more realistic, patient fighting, throwing numbers like you see in real fights. Only thing about that is if you are good fighting realistically works very well, if you are average skill level and try to play realistic you will like lose decision most every time.

Also lay and pray is a sim style I'll never like. I hate being smothered
