Dudes that don't where headphones

I don't wear head phones and play with the tv on mute.

Am I understanding this correctly, tv sound on is different than headphones?

I haven't used sound since I got a PS4 because I'm past the trash talking age and though headphones=direct link to opponent and you just sit there and talk. And based on the messages I get after games, I'm frankly glad I don't hear what people have to say in-fight

it's very easy to mute someone in this game just pause it and you can mute opponent

but yea I also hate hearing ppl in-fight lol

I just went into the customize menu and turned all the soundtrack songs off. Then went through the rest, and turned off any annoying tracks that were left.

Even when you turn the soundtrack off there's still about 100+ songs left. just like generic tracks I guess. A lot of them are pretty terrible though, so it's worth taking a few minutes to go through them.

So what is the difference between wearing headphones and just running sound through the TV if you've muted the other player?

I hear every audio effect so much better. It's kind of the same as playing COD with headphones.

Cheap headphones from your old Walkman probably won't work well, my headset has all kinds of stupid amplification that goes on, and simulates surround sound. I think most newer gaming headsets are like that.

I hear the commentary as if I'm there, hear the fighters grunting or breathing, jokes from the crowd. Everything is just so much clearer.

I can't play without headphones unless I'm just looking up moves out something, I use PlayStation gold headset.

Nearly every time I get a sub win my corner says "awesome ko!" like on man i don't know if i should trust these guys at all. They don't know fhe difference between a ko and a submission lol

The crew that edited commentary did an a amazing job. It's too bad my ears are usually bleeding from the soundtrack so I miss some of the audio.
