I'm currently trying to use World of Mixed Martial Arts 4 (PC MMA text sim where you play as the promoter) to keep track of fight and champion history of my fight cards I've created and played using UFC 2.

Using the Modern Warriors 5 mod, I was able to remove all of the fighters not included in the UFC 2 game. Sometimes I like to let the CPU controlled Dana White create the fight cards and then I will play them out on UFC 2, and then start a new Database with my results.

I haven't perfected it yet, but it's something I will keep messing with until I get it right or we get a Universe Mode for UFC 3.

If I make any progress, I'll let everyone know.

Can you give me a step by step behind how this works? This sounds awesome.

I will try to put something together tonight for you.

Again, I haven't got it working exactly how I want yet, but I'm hoping to get it figured out. Most people might stick to Excel, as my WMMA 4 method still involves manually entering information.

Maybe with yourself and others help, we can figure something out using WMMA 4 to hold us over until we get some type of Universe Mode in UFC 3.

Thanks man.

My biggest issue is with the rankings. I try to use winning streaks and a fighter's record in his last 5 as things that drive where a person is ranked but I'm not completely happy with that.

Do you think that I could enter my results into WMMA and it could determine what the rankings are?

The rankings part is one of the biggest reasons I'm trying to use WMMA 4.
I'm having the same issues you are.

I'm still trying to test if I enter in previous results, save the database, and then start a new game, if the rankings will update automatically or not.

I will test tonight and let you know.

I've been messing with it since I got home, and Im not making any progress.

I can edit the database through the in game editor, but you can only make changes before you start a game. The rankings only get created after you start a game.

I was going to try to edit the database that is tied to the individual saved game, but there is a database password.

Not sure this is going to work the way I was hoping....

So I bought the game anyway and I've been fooling around with it. I may just have to create my own DB because the MW DB is too massive for me. It has leagues and fighters that I dont need.

Let me see if that works.

I created my own database based on MW and I only have the UFC.

It takes a little bit to setup, but it makes the time to sim days go a lot quicker.
