OPTION SELECT problem in EA UFC 2 - causes unbalanced buff to Arm trap

In fighting games there are one term - OPTION SELECT.
What does it mean?

Option select - a tool that allow you to solve 2+ problems with 1 move.

Lets check what we have with Arm trap in EA UFC 2:
[when i aniticpate an opponent's strike from dom position] i click RS in that direction and if side and timing were right i am getting an arm trap

BUT

there are another input for this that allow Option select for sub fighter:
[when i aniticpate an opponent's strike from dom position] i click and keep holding RS in that direction >
IF my guess was right (right side and right timing) = i will get an Arm trap
IF my guess was wrong (wrong side or wrong timing) = i will start and _continue_ to complete my GM (transition for ex) with increased GA (because of mid strike phase). So, i have solved 2 problems with anyway rewards. THIS makes Arm trap unbalanced buffed in the game. (GM = grappling move)

> How to fix it:

Simple!
ONLY click and holding RS = no Arm trap performing, only GM.

ONLY click RS = Arm trap, no GM.

Pros:
- will solve Option select technique for Arm trap input
- will increase risks for failed Arm trap
- wil bring balance to Arm trap in Ground.

P.S. Btw do not hold R1/R2 before attempting Arm trap/Transition because it slow down yr stamina recovery by 50% ad decrease your GA.

By click you mean flick right? No offense Sugata, but English isn't your first language right? I only speak one language, so I commend you if it's not. Not dogging on you at all.

If someone told me to click RS, I would input R3. That wasn't the reason for my language question. That was just a general question. Always been curious where you are from.
