You learn something new every day it seems.

I just lost a fight via a kimura from SUB back clinch. I didn't even know that submission existed haha

Are there any other rare submissions from SUB positions?

I believe we captured that one because we had Sakuraba in the game.

Sakuraba style!

Love that move.

There's a few other's I can think of:

-Heel Hook from Sub Full Mount.
-Kneebar from Sub Backside(Turtle)
-Darce Choke from Sub Side Control

Totally legit move too. In fact it works well when someone has your back (seated back mount) as well, IRL... It isn't in this game that I know of. It's one of those moves you get caught in once as a white belt and then hopefully remember it for the rest of your life (like crossing ankles when you have back mount, or keeping the body triangle from back mount when they roll so the feet are to the ground side).

I love sneaky submissions like this. My favorite is the brabo from bottom side control. I let McGregor get there when I play with Olivera just so I can tap the idiots from that position and make fun of them for using their OP spin kicking spam game

Also, didn't Henderson use it defensively against Frankie Edgar to force him to disengage every time their was a clinch? Pretty sure that was the fight he used the kimura grip to scare off take downs
