How can I not complain? Most BS 1 Punch KO You'll see in EA UFC 2. Seriously WTF?

It is meant to be arcadey, 90% of this game is arcadey and casual friendly. I wish it was an MMA sim, but it's far from it.

What are you on about? Striking especially is one of it's most arcadey aspects.

good catch on that...maybe I don't pay enough attention when I get knocked out in-game lmao but it still seems like a glitch to me though? Not just the phantom punch, but also the ground n pound looked....weird.

I've finished people off standing without having to go to ground and pound; and it just cuts away when you do that --- so if this were a 'true' 1-shot KO I think it would have just went to the celebration not to the ground and pound?

Do we have a consensus yet??? I still don't think this was 'supposed' to happen lol --- i.e. I don't think it was a purposeful change to the game to add 1-shot KOs...but maybe I'm wrong, do we know for a fact yet?

Best thing to look at is the clock. If it stops the fight is over. Sometimes it will let you, as in this fight, still go into finish the fight for extra shots, but these are unneccessary. If the clock stopped, stand still and the fight will end when the lil animation plays out. I always take a glance at the clock after I drop someone just to see if its necessary to follow up

Now that being said, this does seem a BS KO lol your head was fine, a one punch combo and you got insta-KOd, FtF not needed. Id be wounded lol

There are standing TKOs from what I have seen. At least in the clinch. Your head will be too red to block or transition. I think this was kind of like that, and it was just the other person FTF after the knockdown. Definitely shouldn't have been like that with that strike and the conditions I could see.
