Correct, except there's no such thing as the good side of lag. You both experience the same thing.

Sure feels like it some matches. How one players strikes can land and feel hefty, and yours land but feel like pillows and the damage shows the same, something definitely feels off. As well as making it seem like one person has the advantage. Regardless if that is true or not.
