Fighter has moves from NOT available positions for him?

In UFC 2 we have grappling moves (GMs) from positions which not exists in this fighter's move list.
I understand that some positions could be achieved from GB reversals, GM reversals or sweeps...
but some i dont know. For example:

1) Rafael dos Anjos has Omoplata from Rubber Guard, but does not have Rubber guard

2) Nate Dias - submission from Crucifix, but does not have this position...

How to achieve these positions for them?

ha! I bet they just didn't realize it; would be heard to keep 100+ fighters' movesets straight

I think EA needs to enlist the help of some forum members here for accurate movesets lol (although gotta commend them for updating several movesets since launch.....let's just hope those changes stick to UFC 3 lol)

You can't. Claudia Gadehla and Michelle Waterson also have the Omaplata from RG but can't access the RG transition. Quit a fee fighters have subs they can never do.

If this is true that there are no way to get into those positions, then what does it (existence of those GMs in their move list) means or this is just a bug/placed by mistake?

The only logical reason would be to in someway artificially up the fighters submission rating? ... You can certainly add moves to your UT fighter to up submission stats on positions you can't get to. It was probably just a random oversight.

Probably an oversight indeed. There are 150+ fighters in the game and several moves are dependent on others, so it's likely the devs simply forgot some.

But when making a CAF, moves do not give stat bonuses. You can give somebody 5* moves and perks right off the bat without it having an effect on stats, that's only in UT

It was either a mistake on someone's part, or a bug where giving them the submission should open up the position.

I don't know which one.

I know it's not some mysterious hint that there's another way to get into rubber guard.
