it is the most effective combo irl for guys with more height/reach. but there needs to be more effective countering methods to deal with it.

For sure. Or make it so spamming straight punches to the body/head gets you ****ed up. As it is you can spam them with little consequences.

At least Lawler is actually a really fast/powerful puncher irl. Khabib might be the slowest striker at 155, yet he throws straight punches like ****ing Mike Tyson. Just a random side note.

The 1-2 is fine.



It's the non stop 1-2, 1-2, 1-2, to the body, and all the goofy combos that start with the body 1-2, that ruins the mechanics.


I've said it a hundred times, but just simply removing combo multiple from body 1-2s would in itself improve the striking meta so much it's not even funny.
