one finger but that one finger is like a twitch the way it switches for those muay thai clinch elbows and knees.

One finger. It takes a fraction of a second to move between the two buttons. Using two fingers would feel awkward.

I think it's almost mandatory to use 2 on PS4. On XB you can get away with one finger by just sliding it down and hit the RT, ps4 not so much.

With that being said, I've always used 2 ever since the beta. Mainly cause parries

Re: One or two fingers?

I'm a PS4 guy and I strongly disagree. Interesting topic, though.

Maybe I should have phrased it different..

It isn't a huge advantage or disadvantage, and you can play with whatever you're comfortable with and do just fine BUT playing with 1 rather than 2 is still a disadvantage.

That tiny bit of time it takes to change blocks with 1 finger can be the difference between getting hit or blocking correctly. Not to mention during mix ups, if you play with one finger and get the block initially wrong, you're moving back and forth twice.. rather than none at all.

Similar concept would be people who swap the controls when playing shooters, instead of having to press B (or X, Y, whatever) to crouch... they switch it to the analog so it's right there.
