In an attempt to get more conversation going on here I'm compiling all the interesting things I've seen in MartialMind's comment section on the video he made about UFC 3. He gave the most solid gameplay changes and hints I have seen yet there. Some of you may have seen all this already, but some of you may not have. Since I was there already looking for a comment for another thread I thought this might be a good idea to get some speculation and conversation rolling.

Some very exciting stuff in there for sure. I love what I am reading there. I can't wait to hear more.
I can't do much with the Lyoto vs Weidman one though. Since they were so far off with ratings/attributes in the last 2 games, I would never want to speculate on what the approach is this time. Will have to see what that ends up this time.
He plays it safe but gives us something, much better than hearing nothing at all. I'm actually happy I can discuss the next game now because there hasn't been anything worth discussing for a very long time.Comment

with my backround thats not playing it safe, thats leaking info. To be fair my backround is much more restrictive than gaming though.

The Cruz and Conor stuff is the only borderline stuff there. Conor cant be taken as the final answer because we are still far out from release and his model could change. The Cruz stuff hasnt been mentioned though but its an awesome part of the game so I dont think the devs will mind that he mentioned it.Comment

I understand, I just have a different mindset because of my background. It's crazy how much accurate intel can be gathered from little scraps of information, so even dropping what seems like inconsequential nuggets was grounds to be fired, at best.

No need to stop. I get what you are saying. If I publicly spoke on something that my job hadnt released yet, I probably would be fired. With that said, even with the NDA, its not the same level of consequences. Worst thing that would happen is Martial would be dropped as a GC and given the amount of good input he provides, It would be EXTREMELY short sighted to discipline him over a small leak especially when its positive.Comment

The other big risk is if something that was leaked has to be taken out of the game for whatever reason.
Doesn't matter if the leak was positive, if people had never known about it they wouldn't be angry that it was gone.
If it got leaked and was taken out, then people get angry.
That's why it's best to leave the leaking to the experts.Comment
