also the psPro plays at 60 FPS if you have a HDMI 2.2 port thus the monitor

its a no brainer
Good to know! Didn't bother trading in my PS4 for the pro but might consider it depending on what the game will support. 60 fps HDR is a done deal.

60fps? But the game still has to support it right? Or is it forced? Not sure how that works.

The game has to support it. If UFC 2 had an unlocked frame rate with no Pro patch, then maybe Boost Mode would get you closer to 60. But since the cap is 30, and there’s no Pro patch, all Boost Mode will do for you as of now is smooth it out. One thing I can say about EA UFC is that it hardly drops frames during the action, which is the important bit.

Hoping they can do that for 60 fps if they choose it for UFC 3 (fingers crossed)

Re: PS4 vs PS4 Pro Versions?

60fps is not problem. this game is not open world. its a sport game. it runs sufficiently 60fps on normal ps4 and even if on xb1, imo. lets think about the other sports game of ea franchise as fifa and madden. they are all 60fps on normal ps4 and xb1. but there is one thing that only you guys has to care about an frame issue is cut-scene. i doubt it runs 60fps on ps4 pro. cuz fifa18 doesn't work on there. but i think, xbox x will be possible to it.
