What do you guys think the new controls will be like for striking? I think we can already guess that head movement will be tied to right stick to allow for movement while striking...maybe R2/RT+right stick. My guess is there will be alot done with modifiers maybe.

Hopefully things like square+triangle and square+X, and not things like square+circle and X+triangle. That's if there are multiple face button striking inputs.

I feel like it's going to feel pretty similar to Fight Night: Champion with the whole moving and striking deal.

Playing Fight Night recently made me realise how amazing that sort of striking would work on a UFC game so i'm nothing less then super excited, not to mention the moving and leaning with the right stick will seriously add an extra layer the striking on UFC 2 was lacking.

They wouldn't do that to us, that would be very cruel.

Lol right...I would be so pissed. I think they are gonna tie some basic strikes to shoulder buttons maybe.

I remember gpd saying something akin to me being up a creek without a paddle, since I have sausage fingers.

I think sausage fingers should help hit multiple buttons. I think that's what GPD meant by his comment too.

I wouldn't read too much into everything he says. While he seems to often give some info, he also seems to like trolling us a little, lol.
