But, because of how easy checking a leg kick is, and how dangerous that can be. People using Barboza are gonna have to quickly learn thy need to set up leg kicks and not spam thme or be predictable. 1 check will hurt, 2 in succession is a health event, 3 is a drop. What I wanna know is the time difference between checks. If you check the first kick, 10 seconds I kick again and you check it, would that cause an event, or has enough time gone by to just do damage to me?

If he tried to through a really hard leg kick and misjudged the distance, than that would leave him open. Some people leave themselves wide open when they throw leg kicks.

Thats why the beta is going to be so interesting. I want to see how people use a guy like Barbosa with great leg kicks. Are people going to complain that its OP when people are using Barbosa and chewing up people's legs from the outside.
those complains would be ridiculous du to the fact we have tools to defend them.(check leg kick, catch kick...)

How does the game pacing feel? EA MMA, which the striking reminds me of, wasn't the best about pacing.

Any examples in videos?

I understand what you're saying but i don't understand why they didn't paid attention about it for 5~6 years since released ea ufc1. cuz so many ppl have complaint about that from ea ufc1. they had a lot of time but nothing changed until now. for that reason, i am very disappointed.

Aldo seems to be at very short distance on the first leg kick.

What bother me is that Holloway has to do nothing than just move forward to have a free shot on a successful leg kick, why not let the player do the button manipulation to earn that "free shot"?
let the player to Guard/check/absorb a leg kick.

Its only been 3 years since the release of UFC 1. I know it feels longer but the game came out in summer 2014.

I want to be clear. I want this in the game. I've talked to the devs about adding this to the game. With that said, its low priority. You have to step outside of the forums. In the forums, people care about this feature. Outside of the forums, this isnt really considered hight priority.

Would everyone be happy if this was added? Sure but people arent buying the game based on whether the ref interacts with the fighters.
