500-700 for a 4K 1ms gaming monitor. I think ign.com had a few they had written articles on. There’s a few 4k 1ms monitors on the market to choose from. I don’t know what the heck Find The Door is even taking about, saying there’s no 4k 1ms monitors out there.

I think they might be a little bigger than my monitor, but my tv was less than that.

There's no such thing as a 1ms gaming monitor. At least not that can be used with console. You'd have to hit 144 frames on a 144hz monitor to get that kind of response time.

Most of those monitors when they aren't driven like that average out to about 18ms input lag. Lowest 4k monitor on the market when running at 60hz (what the PS4 does) is 10ms input lag.

I think you're both confusing pixel refresh response time with input lag. Pixel refresh response time has no bearing on input at all.

I was talking monitors clearly labeled 1ms response. I don't think I said lag, but I've mixed terms in the past.

So is 1ms response only accurate for 144 hz?

Yes 1ms input lag (response) is only attainable when the monitor is driven to a high enough frame rate to match it's native refresh rate of 144hz (144fps). Even then it's about 3ms input lag at lowest.

That said no monitor can go that low on PS4 or Xbox as neither plays games at that high of a frame rate, nor do they have display port technology.

What you're likely playing at on your monitor is anywhere from 10ms to 30ms response time (input lag) depending on how it scales when running at 60hz (60 FPS) or 30fps (60hz)
